GOOD NEWS!!  - Concurrent Receipt Becomes a Reality

      ~ In a major breakthrough for disabled military retirees, House Majority Whip
Roy Blunt (R-MO) yesterday announced a compromise agreement which will
provide full concurrent receipt to approximately 200,000 disabled retirees.
The provision will be included in the FY 2004 National Defense Authorization

    Sarin Cause Of Gulf Syndrome?

    The head of the Veterans Affairs Department said he will ask researchers to investigate possible links between sarin gas and symptoms seen in Persian Gulf War veterans after a study found the nerve gas affected behavior and organ functions in laboratory mice.
