George Daniel Kepple, a resident
of Burlington for 45 years, passed way at his home on Monday
morning, July 4, 2005. He was 92 years old.
Mr. Kepple was born in Charlestown. He
was the son of the late John & Florence Kepple. Mr. Kepple
was a veteran of World War II. He proudly served his country in
the United States Army-Infantry Division from 1942 – 1945. He
achieved the rank of Staff Sargeant.
Mr. Kepple lived in Charlestown and
Allston before settling in Burlington in 1960. He was employed
for over 24 years at Whiting Milk Company in South Boston.
Mr. Kepple enjoyed playing cards and
reading. He was an expert at doing Crossword Puzzles. There
wasn’t a word he didn’t know and because of his great
vocabulary he was known as “Mr. Webster”. Mr. Kepple spent
many special times over the years with his loving friend Betty
Nagle and her children.
Mr. Kepple is the loving brother of
Zelma Lacey, Elvie Lacey both of Charlestown, and the late John
Kepple and Wilmer Turner Kepple. He is the cousin of John J.
Brandon of FL and Wilmer E. Brandon, Jr. of Sudbury. He is the
loving friend of Elizabeth Nagle of Burlington. A visitation
will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn
St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Wednesday,
July 6 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Followed by a Graveside Service
with Military Honors at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, BURLINGTON at 12
Noon.
