Norman A. Comeau, a
retired Engineer passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center
in Burlington on Monday morning, June 27, 2005. He was 73 years
old. Mr. Comeau was born and raised in Chelsea. He served in the
Army during the Korean War. He served for 3 years and when he
was discharged he held the rank of Sergeant. He received the
Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars and the United Service
Medal He had worked as an engineer at Raytheon in Lowell.
Mr. Comeau and his wife were
married 41 years ago this past May. They moved into their house
in Burlington at the same time and started their family. He was
a member of the Burlington Knights of Columbus and a Past
Commander of the American Legion, Post 273 in Burlington. He
enjoyed doing crosswords puzzles and reading books on history.
He loved his family and took great pleasure in spending time
with his grandchildren.
Mr. Comeau is the husband of Geraldine
(Comeau) Comeau. He is the loving father of Corinne & her
husband Jose Andrade of Plaistow, NH, Carl & his fiancée
Clare Morabito of North Berwick, ME, Clifford & his wife
Kelly of Burlington. He is the son of Mary Regina Comeau of
Burlington and the late Joseph. Brother of Raymond of Rockland,
ME. Grandfather of Stephanie & Kimberly Andrade and Andre
& Sarah Comeau. Funeral services will be private. Memorials
