James Chester Cady, III
passed away after a short illness at the Massachusetts General
Hospital in Boston on Wednesday night, March 29, 2006. He was only 57
years old. Mr. Cady was born in Cambridge the son of the late
Josephine and James Cady. His parents passed away when he was young
and his aunt, Ann Marie Cady raised him and his brother and sister. He
grew up and was educated in Watertown. He continued his education at
Massachusetts Bay College, where he received his Associates Degree. He
served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was recipient of the
National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Cady worked for 30 years with
Kraft Power in Woburn as a service technician.
Mr. Cady is the beloved husband of Dianne R. (Duffy) Cady. He is the
loving brother of Thomas Cady of Holliston and the late Mary Louise
Steele. He is the Stepfather of Lauren Karpenko of Saugus and Karen
Avila of Freetown. He is the son of the late James, Josephine, &
Ann Marie Cady. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and
nephews. Memorial Services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan
Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn
side) on Tuesday, April 4 at 12:30 P.M. A visiting hour from 11:30
a.m. to 12:30 pm. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Donations in
Jim’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen
St., Framingham, MA 01701. |
