The
Burlington Office of Veterans' Services provides services designed to
assist in improving the quality of life for every
veteran in town, their families, and surviving dependents.
Assistance is offered to families of deceased veterans in reviewing available benefits, filing for government life insurance or abatements, and obtaining burial allowances, markers, and burial lots in our local cemeteries.
This office provides assistance and/or guidance for local veterans regarding VA medical, employment possibilities, rehabilitation through various programs including the State and Federal Outreach Centers.
We welcome veterans and families of veterans seeking veterans' benefits, counseling and advice on many issues.
Please call the office at the above number if you would like to make an appointment, if you would like us to assist in pointing you in the direction you are seeking, or if you have any questions.

The Allied Veterans Council is comprised of members of the local service organizations. The Council meets to discuss veterans' issues and concerns, ceremonies, poppy sales, etc. The meetings are held the fourth Monday of each month (except during the summer) at 3:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Annex Basement, lower level meeting room (next to Fire Station). Please feel free to attend the meetings or call to ask for information about the Burlington Allied Veterans.
The Council also conducts small events for veterans at the Bedford VA Hospital. If you would like to volunteer to assist, please contact 781 270-1960.
